SAP Technical Administrator/SAP Platform Administrator/Lead SAP Basis Consultant- Remote

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Basis / SAP Administrator to manage, support, and optimize SAP environments, including SAP ECC and SAP HANA. This role is responsible for system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, transports, security coordination, and overall SAP landscape stability across development, QA, and production systems.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in SAP Basis, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting complex, mission-critical SAP environments.

• Administer and support SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and related SAP systems

• Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, patches, and kernel updates

• Manage SAP transports (TMS) across DEV, QA, and PROD landscapes

• Monitor and tune system performance, memory, CPU, and database utilization

• Perform SAP client administration, user administration, and system housekeeping

• Manage SAP HANA administration, including backup, recovery, and performance monitoring

• Support SAP security teams with role/user provisioning and authorization troubleshooting

• Configure and maintain SAP system profiles and parameters

• Perform system refreshes, copies, and client copies

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide root cause analysis

• Coordinate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and system uptime

• Support audits, compliance, and change management processes

• 6+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience

• Strong experience with SAP ECC and SAP HANA environments

• Experience with SAP NetWeaver administration

• Strong knowledge of SAP transports, system copies, and upgrades

• Experience with SAP HANA database administration

• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (preferred)

• Knowledge of SAP security concepts (user/role administration)

• Experience with Linux/Unix OS administration for SAP

• Experience with SAP kernel patches, SPAM, SNOTE, and OSS notes

• Understanding of SAP architecture and landscape design
