Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Zeeland that are seeking Applications Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom software applications for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define application specifications.
• Configure and customize existing applications to meet specific manufacturing needs.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on application usage and best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications, including design specifications, user manuals, and test plans.
• Perform root cause analysis for application defects and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and ongoing support.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical solutions to complex customer challenges.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam)
• Familiarity with industrial automation and robotics
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, additive manufacturing, or injection molding
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau)
• Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
