Consulting Engineer (Catalyst Center)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Network Consulting Engineer in support of our enterprise networking and cloud solutions customer in Austin, TX.

Summary:
This role is largely focusing on a single customer based in Austin, TX who is looking for Enterprise networking expertise to help optimize their networks in the US. The role will be part of a lifecycle services rendered for 12 months. Responsibilities will include 5-day consulting (both onsite & remote) of customer on their network services, as part of a practice services engagement led by our client.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 6-8 years of related experience
* 3-5 years of experience leading large scale Enterprise Design and Implementation Engagements
* Experience in Programming and Automation. Python, and Ansible desired
* Expert level knowledge in Cisco Catalyst Center, Catalyst Switches, SDA highly desired
* Expert level knowledge highly desired in Enterprise Routing and Switching technologies, such as MPLS, DMVPN, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS VXLAN, LISP and VRF
* Demonstrated knowledge of Campus Networking environments
* Catalyst Center Hands-on knowledge and Catalyst Automation are highly required skills on this role
* Must be self-motivated, team oriented and must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
