Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst / Testing Analyst with strong experience in the Mortgage domain, particularly Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) products. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of business analysis and testing expertise, be technically proficient with JIRA, and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for mortgage and HELOC initiatives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to clarify requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation.
Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Develop and execute test cases, document test results, and track defects using JIRA.
Validate business requirements against implemented solutions and ensure quality deliverables.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Coordinate defect triage, issue resolution, and regression testing.
Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst / Testing Analyst.
Strong experience in the Mortgage Lending domain.
Good understanding of HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit) products and related business processes.
Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Hands-on experience with JIRA for requirement management, defect tracking, and Agile project management.
Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with mortgage servicing or loan origination systems (LOS).
Knowledge of SQL for data validation is a plus.
Experience with API testing or integration testing.
Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred.
