Summary

An established financial services organization is seeking a Java Developer to support remote application development, modernization, and CI/CD initiatives. This role focuses on building and enhancing Java/Spring applications, reusable components, and automated build and deployment processes.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Day shift

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: Standard business

Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, enhance, and support Java/Spring applications

Build web applications and reusable application components

Participate in application redesign and performance improvement efforts

Support automated builds, deployments, and CI/CD pipeline migrations

Troubleshoot and resolve application and deployment issues while collaborating with development, QA, and engineering teams

Qualifications:

Strong Java development experience

Experience with Spring or the Spring Framework

Experience with Maven and Jenkins

Experience supporting automated builds and deployments

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desired Skills:

Experience with SQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Hibernate, or JMS

Experience with GitLab and Jira

Experience in highly regulated financial services environments
