Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer (Level 5) to support advanced aerospace programs. This role involves performing complex structural analyses for metallic and composite airframe structures, mechanical systems, and associated equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in aerospace structural analysis, be capable of solving complex engineering challenges, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform static, dynamic, and damage tolerance (DaDT) structural analyses on airframe structures and mechanical systems
  • Analyze metallic and composite structures using both manual calculations and approved automated tools
  • Develop and derive non-flight applied loads
  • Create, extract, and distribute internal loads across structures
  • Utilize engineering tools such as:
    • FEMAP
    • NX
    • Teamcenter
    • Other structural analysis software
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet project deliverables
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • Interpret complex technical problems and develop effective engineering solutions
Basic Qualifications
  • Education & Experience (one of the following):
    • Bachelor's degree in STEM + 12+ years of aerospace structural analysis experience
    • Master's degree in STEM + 10+ years of experience
    • PhD in STEM + 7+ years of experience
  • Proven background in aerospace structural analysis
  • Experience with composite and metallic structures
  • Proficiency with structural analysis tools (FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
