Description
Summary of the role:
The Construction Project Manager III will provide onsite project management for Data Center (DEC) construction projects in Huntsville, AL. This includes execution of Type F Build, network upgrades, and retrofit projects. The CM III is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance while coordinating closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and connectivity partners. This role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities, as well as the ability to operate effectively in complex, large-scale construction environments with significant capital expenditure.
Key Responsibilities within this role:
Manage daily activities of General Contractors and Telecom Partners
Serve as primary external point of contact for contractors, trade partners, and suppliers
Support constructability reviews, scheduling, and schedule maintenance
Monitor and escalate issues to Campus Construction Management and Facilities Ops PM teams
Drive solutions to maintain business unit goals and KPIs
Navigate complexities of large-scale data center construction projects
Collaborate with DEC Delivery team members for onboarding and alignment to
Ensure execution is safe, on schedule, and within budget
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in commercial construction project management,
preferably with large-scale projects ($100M+)
Proven experience managing general contractors and trade partners.
Field experience in commercial construction (Data Center, Mission Critical,
Oil, Gas, Chemical, or similar industries).
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Autodesk Construction
Cloud) is a plus.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience with large-scale project delivery.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external
partners.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related
discipline is preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
