Senior QA Automation Engineer - $78 CTC - HYBRID (CURRENT Locals to Austin, TX)

Location Requirement:  The primary work location will be 701 W 51st Street, Austin, Texas 78751.

Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon& Tues) required to be onsite at the location listed above. **Subject to change per the hiring team**

Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).

Candidates must already reside in Texas.

QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.

• Coordinates and/or performs work on programming projects including those that are highly complex in nature and/or large in scale.
• Coordinates and/or writes test plans and test data.
• Writes complex software code and debugs software.
• Analyzes proposed applications for software regression suites
• Analyzes, reviews, and revises software to increase operating efficiency or to adapt new procedures.
• Prepares detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed applications.

Required Skills:

• Experience with designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically
• Experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios
• Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments
• Experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies
• Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly
• Strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions
• Acquires knowledge of the Customer''s business in assigned area
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Able to work with Customer as needed during test cycle
• Excellent analytical; problem-solving; team playing; and oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates
• Familiarity with company''s information architecture and information management methodologies
• Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components
