Title: Senior QA Automation Design Engineer
Duration: 3 Months (3 Years Extension)
Location: Austin, Texas 78751. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework.
Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite at the location listed above.
Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.
Summary:
QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.
1. Coordinates and/or performs work on programming projects including those that are highly complex in nature and/or large in scale.
2. Coordinates and/or writes test plans and test data.
3. Writes complex software code and debugs software.
4. Analyzes proposed applications for software regression suites
5. Analyzes, reviews, and revises software to increase operating efficiency or to adapt new
6. procedures.
7. Prepares detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed applications.
Required Skills:
- 8 Years of Required Experience with designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically
- 8 Years of Required Experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios
- 8 Years of Required Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments
- 8 Years of Required Experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing
- 8 Years of Required Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies
- 8 Years of Required Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly
- 8 Years of Required Strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions
- 8 Years of Required Acquires knowledge of the Customer''s business in assigned area
- 8 Years of Required Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- 8 Years of Required Able to work with Customer as needed during test cycle
- 8 Years of Required Excellent analytical; problem-solving; team playing; and oral and written communication skills
- 8 Years of Required Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities
Preferred Skills:
- 2 Years of Preferred Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates
- 2 Years of Preferred Familiarity with company''s information architecture and information management methodologies
- 2 Years of Preferred Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components
