The role involves evaluating multi-faceted engineering challenges, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring solutions align with organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. The consultant will collaborate closely with client personnel to deliver high-quality, scalable database solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and functions
- Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability across very large datasets
- Analyze execution plans and implement tuning strategies to resolve performance bottlenecks
- Ensure robust error handling, transaction control, and data integrity in production systems
- Review and analyze complex engineering challenges requiring evaluation of multiple factors
- Contribute to the resolution of multi-layered technical issues with broad organizational impact
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client teams on engineering initiatives
- Work with application and data teams to deliver efficient, scalable database solutions
