Overview:

Client is seeking a highly experienced OIC / OSB Integration Consultant on behalf of a marquee client. The ideal candidate is a seasoned integration architect/developer with deep expertise designing, building, and supporting enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Service Bus (OSB). This individual must be capable of operating at both the architecture/design level and hands-on development level, while collaborating effectively with functional teams (ERP, SCM, HCM) and enterprise architecture stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design, develop, and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) — both App-Driven and Process-Driven integrations

·       Migrate and/or maintain existing Oracle Service Bus (OSB) integrations, including proxy services, business services, and pipeline configurations

·       Build and manage integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, SCM, HCM) and third-party/on-prem systems

·       Develop REST/SOAP web services, adapters, and connections (FTP, DB, JMS, REST, SOAP, ATP)

·       Implement error handling, retry logic, and monitoring/alerting frameworks within OIC

·       Design and manage integration security — OAuth, SSL/TLS, certificates, and credential/wallet management

·       Support B2B integrations and file-based integrations (FBDI, HDL) where applicable

·       Participate in integration architecture design sessions, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions

·       Perform unit testing, SIT/UAT support, and production cutover/go-live activities for integrations

·       Troubleshoot and resolve integration defects, performance issues, and production incidents

·       Document integration designs, data mappings, and support runbooks

·       Collaborate with functional/technical teams across ERP, SCM, and HCM workstreams to ensure end-to-end integration integrity

 

Required Qualifications:

·       6+ years of integration development experience, with a minimum of 3+ years hands-on with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

·       Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Service Bus (OSB) — proxy/business services, pipelines, transformations

·       Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, SCM, and/or HCM) with third-party and legacy systems

·       Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services, XML, JSON, XSLT, and XSD

·       Experience with OIC adapters (REST, SOAP, FTP, DB, ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, etc.)

·       Solid understanding of integration security protocols (OAuth 2.0, SSL/TLS, certificate management)

·       Experience with FBDI/HDL file-based integration patterns

·       Strong troubleshooting skills across integration, network, and application layers

·       Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and functional stakeholders

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Oracle Integration Cloud Certification

·       Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware / SOA Suite (in addition to OSB)

·       Experience with Oracle API Platform / API Gateway

·       Experience with VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) a plus

·       Prior consulting firm experience: Big 4, Oracle Partner, or boutique integration practice

·       Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM delivery methodologies
