QA / Accessibility Tester — PeopleSoft Landing Page Redesign

Client seeks a U.S.-based QA and Accessibility Tester to support the redesign and implementation of PeopleSoft iStar landing pages. The tester will validate that the redesigned experience functions correctly across Interaction Hub, Campus Solutions, HCM, FSCM, and ELM and remains usable across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
The QAT resource will:
- Develop and execute functional, usability, accessibility, responsive-design, role-based access, and regression test cases.
- Validate landing pages, tiles, labels, links, navigation paths, role visibility, branding, and configured PeopleTools 8.62 behaviors.
- Review the experience against WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 principles within the capabilities of the PeopleSoft environment.
- Support user acceptance testing, document reproducible defects, assign severity, coordinate retesting, and track issues through resolution or formal deferral.
- Confirm that fixes do not disrupt existing Classic, Classic Plus, Fluid, custom-page, WorkCenter, dashboard, navigation collection, or external-system links.
- Review training materials and job aids for accuracy, clarity, accessibility, and consistency with the implemented solution.
- Support production-readiness validation and two weeks of post-production stabilization.
The preferred candidate will have experience testing enterprise applications, ERP platforms, administrative portals, or PeopleSoft environments; strong knowledge of accessibility and responsive-interface testing; and experience using structured test plans, defect logs, screenshots, reproduction steps, and UAT documentation. Familiarity with PeopleTools 8.62, PeopleSoft Fluid UI, higher education systems, assistive technologies, and common accessibility-testing tools is strongly preferred.
The engagement anticipates approximately 140 total hours, with limited involvement during design review and heavier participation during configuration, QA, UAT, training validation, and stabilization. The tester must track time weekly, protect LSCS information, use only approved systems and access methods, and obtain written authorization before exceeding assigned phase or project hour limits.
