Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow HRSD Product Owner to lead the functional design and implementation of our new HR service management solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both the technical and functional aspects of the ServiceNow platform, with a proven track record of delivering complex HR technology projects. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for documenting the business requirements in user stories, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that the delivered solution meets the needs of our HR organization and employees.
Key Responsibilities

Software Development Life Cycle - Participates in all phases of the SDLC process, defined by the DPMO Playbook framework
Facilitates Sprint Demos & UAT Signoffs 7 release planning, alongside the Scrum Master
Follows documented release management processes
Requirements Gathering
Collaborates directly with the customer or business process owner to understand the business process and ensure alignment between processes, features, and requirements
Works with Product Manager (PdM) to have Epics & Features defined
Creates user stories with acceptance criteria Collaborate with the tech lead, PdM, and solution designer to break down work into estimable pieces
Backlog Management
Works with customers to prioritize work and align to a clear product vision and strategy
Organizes / manages the backlog and user stories
Release Management
Creates the release records with agreed dates; assigns Tech Led to populate technical details; alternately may delegate this task to the Tech Lead or Solution Designer
Keep PdM/Solution Delivery Manager aware of all issues as they happen to avoid surprises
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
Quality & Go-Live
Ensure the solution is tested and validated against business requirements.
Develop and execute a plan for user acceptance testing (UAT).
Required Skills & Experience
ServiceNow Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
HRSD Implementation: Proven experience with at least two full-cycle implementations of ServiceNow HRSD, including case and knowledge management, and employee service center. Experience with Life Cycle Events preferred. Experience in Xanadu version or higher required.
Employee Workflows: Deep understanding and practical experience in designing and implementing complex employee workflows.
Replatforming / Clean Core: Demonstrable experience in a ServiceNow replatforming project, moving from a customized instance to a "clean core" or out-of-the-box environment. Must understand the challenges and best practices associated with this type of migration.
