About the Role
Seeking an experienced .NET Architect to lead architecture, modernization, and cloud-native solution design for a major Financial Services client. The role requires strong hands-on .NET Core, microservices, Azure, API architecture, and secure, scalable application design expertise.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and design .NET Core, microservices-based enterprise applications.

Develop HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, integration and cloud deployment patterns.

Lead modernization from monolithic to microservices / cloud-native architectures.
-
Design secure REST APIs, middleware, and integration with financial platforms.
-
Implement cloud-native solutions in Azure (Functions, App Services, API Mgmt, Service Bus).
-
Guide development teams, conduct design/code reviews, and enforce engineering standards.
-
Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, SOX, FFIEC, and secure coding best practices.

Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and disaster recovery.
Required Skills
-
10 15 years in .NET engineering; 5+ years in architecture roles.

Deep expertise in .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, Microservices, REST APIs.

Hands-on experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS, API Gateway).

Strong in SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, LINQ.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Azure DevOps).

Financial services experience (banking, payments, lending, trading).

Strong understanding of security: OAuth2, Identity, Key Vault, JWT.
Preferred
-
Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, SAFe Architect, TOGAF.

Experience in cloud migration, event-driven systems (Kafka/Service Bus), or digital banking transformation.

Familiarity with caching, load balancing, resiliency patterns, and application monitoring.
