Description
The Network Architect or LAN Planner: designs, implements, and optimizes an organization's physical and wireless network infrastructure. They ensure fast, secure, and reliable connectivity across a localized space like a corporate office, campus, or data center.
Network Design & Architecture: Develop LAN topology and layout plans, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Capacity & Bandwidth Planning: Forecast user data demands and design networks capable of handling peak loads without bottlenecks.
Cabling Infrastructure: Plan structured cabling designs (e.g., fiber optics, Cat6/Cat7) for optimal data transfer and physical cable management
Vendor Management: Collaborate with telecom and hardware vendors to source networking equipment and negotiate support contracts.
Security & Compliance: Integrate cybersecurity measures, such as network access controls, to protect data and meet corporate compliance standards

Looking for candidates within 1-1.5 hour drive of Glendale, Kentucky and willing to go onsite on a semi-regular basis. Long Term Contract.
Our client has large datacenter on-prem, racks, non-functional printers, etc. that were left over from the previous joint venture. They need to redesign the manufacturing plant, so the previous network infrastructure layout will not work.
They are at the initial stages of creating their IT leadership teams and technology strategy, so we're at the begining stages of being able to position as the partner for this work.
Long term ongoing contract. Opportunity to be part of a brand new start up backed by a large Fortune 100 Company. Exciting opportunity to be part of the initial stage in redesigning a manufacturing plant.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
