Summary

Position: Software Engineer ( .NET )

Location: Hagerstown, MD (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, & maintain backend services using .NET 8 / 9.
Build scalable, secure, & production-ready APIs following best practices in API design & integration patterns.
Collaborate with frontend teams working with technologies such as React, Angular, or Blazor.
Develop & deploy containerized applications using Docker and / or Kubernetes.
Ensure code quality, performance, & reliability through modern engineering practices.
Participate in architectural discussions & ensure solutions align with enterprise standards.
Lead or contribute to customer-facing workstreams, gathering requirements & providing technical expertise.
Work effectively in a distributed, multicultural team environment.
Continuously improve development processes, tools, & team collaboration.
Required Qualifications

Strong experience developing backend services with .NET 8/9.
Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Blazor.
Experience in containerization & orchestration tools ( Docker, Kubernetes ).
Strong understanding in API design principles & integration patterns.
Familiarity in messaging technologies such as MQTT or Kafka is a plus.
Self - driven with a growth mindset & passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead technical discussions & customer - facing initiatives.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications ( Nice to Have )

Hands - on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
Experience in CI / CD pipelines & DevOps practices.
Exposure to shopfloor integrations or IoT solutions.
