In this role, you will design, implement, and debug low-level firmware for storage controllers, with a primary focus on RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) functionality on ARM based microprocessors. You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver product features aligned with customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:- Develop new features and maintain firmware for storage products
- Work on storage products supporting PCIe, NVMe and/or SAS/SATA protocols
- Support product solution validation and firmware release activities
- Gather and analyze logs to root cause and resolve functional, performance and data integrity issues
- Participate in storage product feature design and implementation reviews
- Collaborate with hardware and validation teams for system integration
- Troubleshoot low-level firmware and hardware interaction issues using DSTREAM and logical analyzers
Qualification:- Bachelor's degree in CS, ECE, or EE and 2+ years of related experience, or
- Master's degree in CS, ECE, or EE
- Strong programming skills in C (and assembly language is desirable).
- Working knowledge of embedded processors - ARM
- Experience using AI/LLM based tools within an embedded firmware workflow, such as AI coding assistants for code generation, review and debugging, AI-assisted test-case generation and AI-assisted documentation.
Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is USD 82,500.00 To USD 132,000.00
