Sales / Business Development Representative with French speaking

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales / Business Development Representative (BDR/SDR) with IT Sales background along with MQL/BANT exp

French speaking is added advantage

 In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and nurturing market-qualified leads into qualified sales opportunities, ultimately contributing to client growth and success in either the Retail or Public Sector markets. You will act as a key bridge between marketing and sales, ensuring a seamless transition of leads and maximizing conversion rates.

Responsibilities:

Lead Qualification & Nurturing:

• Receive and qualify market-qualified leads (MQLs) from marketing campaigns and other sources.
• Proactively engage with leads through phone, email, and other communication channels to understand their business needs and challenges.
• Nurture leads through targeted content, personalized communication, and strategic follow-up.
• Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
• Opportunity Generation:
• Conduct thorough discovery calls to identify customer pain points and business requirements.
• Articulate the value proposition of Client’s services and consulting capabilities, specifically as they relate to the Retail or Public Sector markets.
• Effectively communicate how Client’s can address customer challenges and achieve their business goals.
• Qualify leads based on BANT criteria (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).
• Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives.
• Industry Knowledge & Market Awareness:
• Develop a strong understanding of the Retail or Public Sector markets, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Stay informed about client’s service offerings and consulting capabilities relevant to the Retail or Public Sector markets.
• Maintain a working knowledge of competitor landscape and offerings.
• Sales Process & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and interactions in CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead qualification and opportunity generation.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation and nurturing strategies.
• Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a business development, sales, or marketing role, preferably in the technology or consulting industry.
• Proven track record of successfully qualifying leads and generating sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand and articulate complex business and technical concepts.
• Strong understanding of the Retail or Public Sector markets and its specific challenges (e.g., regulations, technology adoption, competitive landscape).
• Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential customers.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales and marketing tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English is required; French language skills are an asset.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA and Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience selling services and consulting capabilities.
• Specific experience within the Retail and Public Sector market.
