Cisco Crosswork and Automation Platform Integration Expert

Introduction:

This position involves the design, implementation, and operationalization of advanced network automation and wireless infrastructure solutions across the enterprise. The focus is on deploying Cisco Crosswork automation platforms and Cisco Meraki cloud-managed networking to modernize network operations, enhance visibility, and streamline management. The expert will drive automation adoption, architect wireless solutions, and ensure seamless integration of these platforms into existing environments. The role is remote with travel required for site surveys, installation oversight, and stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Migration process from traditional MPLS using LDP to segment routing MPLS
• Deploying Cisco Crosswork, integrating with Ansible, and preparing for SRv6 migration
• Configuring and maintaining Cisco NSO for service orchestration and device lifecycle management
• Implementing Crosswork Network Controller for intent-based networking and segment routing policies
• Architecting Cisco Meraki cloud-managed solutions including MR, MS, and MX product lines
• Conducting wireless site surveys to assess RF environments and validate AP placement
• Creating comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams and troubleshooting guides
• Integrating Crosswork and Meraki platforms with existing monitoring and ticketing systems

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience deploying and operationalizing Cisco Crosswork product family
• Proficiency in Cisco NSO and Ansible for network automation
• Experience with Cisco Meraki solutions and wireless RF fundamentals
• Strong foundation in network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLANs
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Ekahau Pro or equivalent tools for wireless site surveys
• Understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments for platform deployment
