Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Operations Analyst Senior for an Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a 5 month contract opportunity.This role focuses on ensuring application and process resiliency by addressing production issues, supporting forecasting engines, and troubleshooting application-related problems. The ideal candidate will leverage strong analytical skills in SQL and Python to support mission-critical applications, often during non-business hours as part of a scheduled rotation.
Responsibilities:- Ensure application and process resiliency by addressing production issues during assigned shifts (non-business hours when assigned)
- Address user inquiries in a timely manner
- Provide requirement for and/or assist with the development of the company's forecasting engines
- Support the calculation of impacts associated with future model deployments
- Support the E2E testing of all engines within the company's applications
- Troubleshoot application related issues in both production and when needed in lower environments
- Communicate performance patterns and trends to stakeholders
- Support environment related maintenance and management
- Develop automated tools to assist with core responsibilities
- Assist with the Project Management tasks for the forecasting engines
Requirements:- 3 years of work experience
- Proven experience with analytical tools: SQL, Python, Excel, and similar
- Good knowledge of Fixed Income and/or Finance Analytics
- Ability to analyze large datasets
- Ability to work on weekend and evenings for one week a month is necessary
- Experience in interfacing with and/or supporting mission-critical applications or tasks
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or other quantitative field
- Experience with JIRA, particularly creating dashboards and tickets along with their maintenance
