Role: Ansible Automation Engineer
Location: Hybrid Onsite Dallas TX, Jersey city NJ and Tampa FL
Duration: Long-term

Responsibilities
- Playbook & Role Development
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules.
- Standardize automation workflows for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
- Infrastructure Automation
- Automate server provisioning, OS configuration, patching, and compliance validation.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for consistent, repeatable deployments.
- CI/CD Integration
- Integrate Ansible with Jenkins, Git, and other CI/CD pipelines.
- Support automated release management and deployment across environments.
- Platform & Tool Management
- Administer Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Ansible Tower, and AWX.
- Create and manage inventories, templates, workflows, and credentials.
- Collaboration & Governance
- Work with DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Define automation standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization
- Diagnose automation failures and optimize workflows for performance and reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
Required Skills
- Core Tools: Ansible, Ansible Tower/AAP, AWX
- DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes
- Scripting: Python, Bash, Shell scripting
- OS & Infra: Linux/Unix administration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
