Job Title : Power BI Fabric Platform Administrator
Job Description:
Professional experience in analytics, BI platform administration, or enterprise data solutions.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on administration of Microsoft Power BI Service or Microsoft Fabric in large-scale enterprise environments.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, DAX, Power Query (M), and semantic model design.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric architecture, capacity planning, Lakehouse integration, and platform security model.
Experience working with Fabric audit logs, activity monitoring, Power BI Admin APIs, and operational/compliance reporting.
Automation & Integration
Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, REST APIs, and administering Fabric / Power BI through automation.
Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and telemetry-based diagnostic insights.
Skilled in managing and optimizing the on-premises data gateway, including upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Security, Governance & Access Control
Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and secure workspace access configuration.
Experience with data governance, sensitivity labels, and enterprise compliance frameworks.
Ability to manage license utilization, capacity consumption, and platform SLA-driven support operations.
DevOps / CI-CD
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment scripts, and Git-based version control for Power BI and Fabric artifacts.
Leadership & Enablement
Proven experience mentoring junior administrators and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive platform adoption.
Ability to create internal enablement documentation, best practices, and conduct end-user training.

Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
