Supply Chain Planner

Apex Systems is immediately hiring for a Supply Chain Planner with a large aerospace client in Seattle, WA!

Location: 100% on-site in Seattle, WA

Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday, Core Business Hours (8-hour shift; Standard 40-hour work week)

Contract Type/Duration: W2 contract, slated to go through the end of 2026 (possibility for extensions)

Pay Rate: $45-60/hour (depending upon experience)

Role Overview:

The Supply Chain Planner will support the team, partnering closely with internal program teams and suppliers to ensure healthy inventory levels, optimized stocking strategies, and on-time repair and material availability. This role focuses on supply planning, forecasting, repair management, and supplier coordination to support contractual turnaround times and overall program performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, forecast, and set stocking levels to support the Services Program.

Manage supplier relationships to ensure material availability and contractual repair turnaround times are met.

Oversee repair management activities to maintain healthy inventory and minimize downtime.

Analyze supply chain data to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.

Support supply planning and stocking optimization initiatives.

Partner with cross-functional teams to support ongoing program needs and priorities.

Qualifications:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline.

SAP experience is required, with the ability to navigate and support recently implemented SAP environments.

Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret trends and support planning decisions.

Solid understanding of supply planning, forecasting, inventory management, and stocking optimization concepts.

Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field highly preferred.

Experience supporting aerospace or component services programs.

Experience working directly with suppliers and managing repair pipelines.
