Location: Atlanta GA (Onsite / Hybrid) - LOCAL ONLY

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Administrator with strong telecom domain exposure to manage, maintain, and optimize Informatica environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, performance, and security while supporting data integration needs across telecom systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Informatica environments
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot failures, and ensure high availability
  • Manage repositories, workflows, sessions, and user access
  • Perform migrations across environments (Dev, QA, Prod)
  • Work closely with ETL developers, data architects, and business teams
  • Implement security standards and data governance practices
  • Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and runbooks
  • Support incident management and root cause analysis

Telecom Domain Requirements (Must Have)

  • Experience working with telecom data such as:
  • CDR (Call Detail Records)
  • Billing systems
  • Network usage data
  • Familiarity with telecom OSS/BSS systems
  • Understanding of high-volume, real-time or batch data processing

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Informatica PowerCenter Admin
  • Grid/cluster configuration
  • Workflow monitoring & performance tuning
  • Good knowledge of:
  • UNIX/Linux environments
  • SQL and database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys)
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Nice to Have

Experience with:

  • Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
  • Exposure to scripting (Shell/Python)

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good documentation and reporting skills

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–10 years of experience in Informatica Administration
  • Prior experience in telecom companies like
  • (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile US or vendors supporting them)
  • Proven ability to handle large-scale data environments
