Overview

We’re seeking an experienced project management professional to support an R&D Global Capability Model (GCM) transformation. You’ll work closely with R&D Functional Leaders, the GCM Program Lead, and the PMO to translate organizational strategies into practical implementation plans. Opportunities are available at both the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager levels, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate functional strategies and organizational designs into project plans, milestones, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Support workforce planning, hiring strategies, recruitment timelines, and hiring wave coordination.
  • Coordinate onboarding readiness, operational preparation, and transition support for teams across global locations.
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Communications, and functional leaders to drive implementation.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve transition-related issues, escalating risks that could affect delivery.
  • Support organizational change management, stakeholder communications, and employee readiness initiatives.
  • Develop business cases, workforce analyses, status reports, executive presentations, and decision-support materials.
  • Track progress and ensure actions, dependencies, and decisions are followed through to completion.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated project or program management experience in a complex, global organization.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams, stakeholder dependencies, and implementation timelines.
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive reporting and presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and operational teams across functions and geographies.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, identify risks, challenge assumptions, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Experience in workforce planning, organizational transformation, change management, business case development, or large-scale implementations.
  • Pharmaceutical R&D, life sciences, or global capability center (GCCM) experience.
