Role Summary
The Enterprise Architect plays a strategic role in shaping the future state of the organization’s technology landscape by providing a holistic, portfolio wide architectural perspective. This role is responsible for defining target architectures, guiding modernization initiatives, and ensuring alignment between business strategy and enterprise technology direction.
In this position, you will evaluate current systems, develop future state roadmaps, establish governance, and provide architectural leadership across initiatives involving cloud platforms, integration, data, and emerging AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and maintain enterprise wide application roadmaps, target architectures, and architectural blueprints
• Analyze the current IT landscape and define future state architectures that support scalability, extensibility, and modernization
• Establish and enforce enterprise architecture standards, policies, and governance processes
• Evaluate emerging technologies and tools and provide recommendations aligned with enterprise strategy
• Provide architectural leadership and guidance to project and delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
• Lead digital modernization initiatives including cloud migration, API enablement, middleware transformation, and AI integration
• Guide teams from proof of concept through implementation using enterprise architecture and AI governance principles
• Partner with stakeholders across business and technology teams to ensure solutions support enterprise wide objectives
Key Requirements
• 10 or more years of technical solutions experience with 3 or more years in a true Enterprise Architecture role
• Demonstrated experience with portfolio wide architecture, target architecture development, and enterprise level perspective
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks with TOGAF preferred
• Hands on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, integration architectures, and service oriented solutions
• Familiarity with enterprise application development technologies and frameworks such as Java, React, Angular, and Spring Boot
• Experience with AI platforms, tools, or services including cloud based AI and machine learning solutions
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
