Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is accountable for establishing and maintaining partnerships with Application Development and Production Support teams to implement SRE measures. The ideal candidate will ensure appropriate instrumentation, tooling, alerting, and on-call routines are in place for key services, with a specific focus on automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud technologies including Terraform, AWS, and Azure.
Responsibilities: - Establish and maintain partnerships with Application Development and Production Support teams
- Implement measures prescribed by the SRE team
- Ensure appropriate instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting and on-call routines are in place for key services
- Decompose issues or objectives into units of work that can be assigned to other team members
- Advocate and advance more efficient solution delivery practices
- Evangelize great design, engineering, and organizational practices
Requirements: - BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Terraform Enterprise, Ansible Automation, and Cloud environments
- Experience with Python, Ansible, Golang, and shell scripting
- Strong experience in major services related to Compute, Storage, Network, and Security
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Dynatrace, as well as cloud native tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Strong understanding and background of working with a complex infrastructure, including RHEL and Windows Servers, OpenShift containers, Terraform, Azure, and AWS virtual resources
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and GitOps models
- Excellent understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems administration
- Experience in Jira, Remedy, and other workload management tools
- Systematic problem-solving approach with a sense of ownership and drive
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills
- Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite

Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
