This position is contingent upon contract award and position availability. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer of employment, which will become final only upon successful contract award to Maximus, availability of the position, and receipt of authorization to proceed.

This role is onsite, five days a week, and requires a TS/SCI security clearance.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Plan, develop, and execute adversarial attack scenarios against DoD enterprise systems and networks.

- Simulate real-world threat actor behaviors using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.

- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and cloud environments.

- Conduct stealth operations aligned with OPSEC principles to ensure realism and effectiveness.

- Collaborate with Blue Teams to validate detection and response capabilities.

- Document findings and deliver detailed remediation reports to stakeholders.

- Stay current on emerging offensive security tools, techniques, and threat trends.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree (preferred focus in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field).

- Minimum 5 years in technology consulting.

- At least 3 years supporting federal government or DoD environments.

Must be active in at least one of these certifications:

- CompTIA Security+

- CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP CISM, CISA

- GSLC, CCISO

- Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP)

- OSCP, OSCEGPEN, GWAPT

- Proficiency with tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux.

- Strong understanding of network security, threat vectors, and attack methodologies.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency with tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux.
- Strong understanding of network security, threat vectors, and attack methodologies.
- Experience with adversary emulation frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
- Ability to assess cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong ethical hacking discipline and operational rigor.

- Experience estimating resources and reporting progress to government stakeholders.
