Job Description: Quality Analyst 2

Location : Richmond , VA- Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst 2 (3+ years’ experience) to independently drive business systems analysis and software quality assurance across multiple project assignments. In this role, you will analyse business workflows, manage end-to-end testing lifecycles, perform in-depth root-cause analysis, and identify opportunities for test automation by creating and maintaining automated test scripts.

Key Responsibilities

·       Independently analyse, document, and validate complex business requirements and system modification requests.

·       Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans across multiple simultaneous projects.

·       Identify, document, and track software defects; conduct thorough root-cause analysis to support long-term resolution.

·       Evaluate manual test suites to identify high-value candidates for test automation.

·       Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java or TypeScript with tools such as Playwright or Selenium.

·       Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business goals into technical requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

·       Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in business systems analysis and software QA/automation.

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or ~4 years of related progressive experience.

Technical Sills:

·       Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Playwright or Selenium).

·       Proficiency in Java or TypeScript, along with HTML and XML.

·       Working familiarity with modern web frameworks (React or Next.js).

·       Strong background in defect management systems and root-cause analysis techniques.

·       Professional Skills: Proven ability to manage competing priorities across concurrent projects, build trust with business partners, and solve problems with minimal supervision.
