Experience:

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Credentials: Associate?s degree preferred.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.

Unit Details: Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Assists physicians with radiological imaging for cardiac and vascular procedures and serves as a scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions. Operates imaging equipment in the control room, monitoring and documenting procedure images and events. Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and its expectations. Teaches patients and families about pre- and post-procedure physical conditions.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

? BLS (Basic Life Support)

? RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications CI, RCES

? ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
