Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Functional Consultant – Operations to support and enhance retail operations processes across procurement, inventory management, merchandise movement, distribution centers, and supply chain functions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to optimize operational efficiency, improve inventory visibility, and support end-to-end retail fulfillment processes within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze operational and supply chain requirements.
• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA solutions related to:
• Materials Management (MM)
• Inventory Management (IM)
• Warehouse Management (WM/EWM)
• Procurement and Replenishment
• Merchandise Flow and Distribution
• Support retail inventory lifecycle management across stores, warehouses, and online channels.
• Design and implement solutions for stock transfers, replenishment planning, goods movement, and inventory optimization.
• Analyze and improve operational processes to reduce inventory discrepancies and improve product availability.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and enhancements.
• Support integration between Operations, Sales, Merchandising, Logistics, and Finance functions.
• Participate in data migration, testing, UAT, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Develop operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs leveraging SAP HANA capabilities.
• Provide production support and continuous process improvement recommendations.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA MM, IM, WM/EWM modules.
• Understanding of retail supply chain and inventory management processes.
• Knowledge of store replenishment, distribution center operations, and merchandise movement.
• Experience with SAP HANA reporting and analytics.
• Strong business process mapping and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and PL/SQL is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.
• Experience in retail or consumer goods industry preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA certification is an advantage.
