Role Overview
This is a hands-on, senior-level engineering role focused on greenfield development within a brokerage environment. The position requires a developer to ramp up on an existing application, refactor business logic, and contribute to the creation of new, cloud-native services and distributed systems. The successful candidate will own the development process from end to end, including design, development, deployment, and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on coding on a daily basis.
- Develop and support distributed applications in a cloud-native environment.
- Take ownership of work from concept through production.
- Collaborate with team members to modernize and extend platform capabilities.
- Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where system reliability and scalability are critical.
- Extract and refactor business logic from existing systems.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or with trading platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong distributed systems.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $55.00 to $62.00 per hour. The final pay rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
