Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and support mission-critical distributed systems and platforms
- Lead technical discussions and drive solutions that align with business and architectural goals
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in cloud, AI, and modern development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, operations, and production support
- Identify technical risks early and implement mitigation strategies
- Continuously improve development processes, system performance, and time-to-market
- Contribute to the evolution of scalable, high-performance systems handling large data volumes
Required Qualifications- 6+ years of software development experience on large-scale enterprise platforms
- 4-6+ years of experience in financial services, with exposure to concepts such as margins, derivatives, lending, or risk management
- 5+ years of experience delivering complex, multi-dependency projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Technical Skills- Strong experience building distributed systems and cloud-native applications
- Proficiency in C# and .NET across Linux and Windows environments
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and/or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
- Experience with databases such as Aerospike, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with BPM/integration platforms (e.g., Appian)
- Expertise with messaging systems such as Kafka and IBM MQ
- Experience working with AI-driven development tools and modern AI-enabled workflows
- Solid understanding of Agile development practices
- Experience managing and supporting mission-critical services in production environments
- Proficiency in using observability, telemetry, and metrics to improve system performance
