Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong experience in enterprise CI/CD, automation, DevSecOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, database automation, and observability. The ideal candidate will design and modernize scalable engineering platforms, automate software delivery processes, integrate security controls, and build self-service capabilities that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Engineering & CI/CD

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize enterprise CI/CD platforms and automation frameworks.
• Develop reusable deployment templates, patterns, and self-service capabilities.
• Modernize existing CI/CD processes to improve reliability, scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Automate the application lifecycle, including builds, testing, security validation, deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
• Partner with development teams to implement modern DevOps and software delivery practices.

Security Automation & DevSecOps

• Implement and automate security controls across software delivery and infrastructure platforms.
• Partner with IAM teams on RBAC, SSO, PAM, and PSM solutions.
• Automate password rotation, credential management, and secrets lifecycle processes.
• Integrate security scanning, compliance checks, and governance controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate remediation of infrastructure, application, and software supply-chain vulnerabilities.

Database-as-Code & Automation

• Lead adoption of Database-as-Code practices across enterprise database platforms.
• Implement and support Liquibase-based database deployment frameworks.
• Automate database deployments, validations, rollback procedures, and compliance controls.
• Develop self-service solutions for approved SQL/DML execution.
• Establish governance, traceability, and auditability standards for database changes.

Observability & Operational Excellence

• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability solutions.
• Build automation and tooling that improve reliability, operational efficiency, and platform visibility.
• Integrate enterprise tools, APIs, and platforms to streamline operational workflows.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, database, and application teams on standardization and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, Platform Engineering, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
• Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration Management, and Software-Defined Infrastructure.
• Experience working with on-premises, virtualized, containerized, and cloud environments.
• Strong programming and automation skills using Python or equivalent languages.
• Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise automation/orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Microsoft DSC.
• Experience working with REST APIs, service-oriented architectures, and system integration patterns.
• Understanding of application, infrastructure, security, and operational logging.
• Experience integrating security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance validation into CI/CD workflows.
• Experience working within enterprise change-management, governance, and compliance processes.
