Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a leading enterprise financial services organization in Birmingham AL that is seeking a Senior Agile Product Owner.

Overview:
The client is looking for an experienced Agile Product Owner IV to support a major modernization initiative involving the redesign and rebuild an internal CRM platform. This role requires a strong combination of Product Ownership, Agile Delivery, Business Analysis, and stakeholder management skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading complex Agile initiatives from the product perspective, partnering closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and delivery leadership to drive user-centric outcomes. Candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and can organize, prioritize, and guide development efforts from discovery through execution will be highly successful in this role. Strong product leadership and Agile delivery experience are far more important than banking industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary Product Owner for a large-scale CRM modernization initiative
* Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and end users to gather, refine, and prioritize requirements
* Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
* Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities
* Drive user-centric product discovery efforts including stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and process mapping
* Coordinate across product, project management, business analysis, and engineering functions to ensure successful delivery
* Manage and maintain product backlogs within Jira and Confluence
* Support Agile coaching and delivery best practices across the team
* Collaborate with technical teams to align business objectives with implementation strategy
* Assist with documentation, workflow visualization, and process modeling using tools such as Lucidchart

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience serving as a Product Owner or Lead Product Professional in Agile environments
* Proven background managing Agile software delivery initiatives
* Experience balancing both Product Management and Business Analysis responsibilities

* Agile Delivery methodologies
* Agile Requirement Management
* Business Requirements Analysis
* Atlassian Jira
* Atlassian Confluence
* Lucidchart
* GitHub Copilot
* Microsoft Copilot
* Ability to organize and drive development efforts from a product ownership perspective
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working closely with development teams on modernization or new-build initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting CRM platforms or CRM modernization initiatives
* Experience leading discovery sessions, user interviews, and user-focused product delivery
* Prior experience in enterprise or highly regulated environments
* Exposure to banking or financial services environments is a plus, but not required
* Previous experience in a senior or lead-level Product Owner capacity

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
