job summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Compute SME to lead the optimization and support of critical on-premises datacenter platforms. You will own the compute layer end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and reliability for a major Health & Public Service initiative.

responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Cisco UCS and Dell PowerEdge server infrastructure.
- Manage enterprise virtualization environments using VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting across hardware, hypervisors, and Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Drive automation and tooling initiatives to streamline lifecycle management and patching.
qualifications:
7-10+ years of experience in datacenter compute and virtualization engineering.
Expertise in Cisco UCS (Manager/Intersight) and Dell PowerEdge (iDRAC) hardware.
Advanced proficiency in VMware vSphere and VCF operations.
Strong background in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) administration.
