Job Title: VDI/VMware Administrator

 

Location: Manhattan, New York- Onsite

 

Position Overview:

 

Supports IDB's Horizon VDI platform—the bank's core End User Compute technology. Requires occasional onsite office visits.

 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:



Core Technologies: Omnissa Horizon VDI (formerly VMware) required; Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) are pluses.

 

Operating Systems: Windows 10 and Windows 11 deployment and maintenance.

 

Application Packaging & Delivery: MSI, MSIX, and AppStacks via AppVolumes.

 

Profile Management: Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) and FSLogix.

 

Infrastructure & Protocols: Horizon Admin, Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateway (UAG), and remote protocols.

 

Endpoint Hardware: Thin client technologies including Dell Wyse, HP ThinPro, and IGEL.
