We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 with strong expertise in GitHub Enterprise administration and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing the GitHub platform while ensuring compliance, governance, and automation across the software development lifecycle.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, improve system efficiency, and implement scalable CI/CD and DevSecOps solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and propose effective technical solutions
Perform cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system workflows and requirements
Document detailed functional and technical specifications
Administer and govern GitHub Enterprise platform
Implement security, compliance, and audit-ready processes
Enable DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines
Develop and maintain automation using scripting and workflows
Standardize development practices and governance models
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience in Git-based version control administration
8+ years of hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server)
Strong expertise in RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection strategies
Proficiency in GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflow automation
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Experience with audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
Proven experience implementing DevSecOps practices
Experience with GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Secret Scanning)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
Knowledge of policy-as-code frameworks
Strong documentation skills (governance standards, developer guides)
Experience conducting technical training or enablement sessions
