Express Employment Professionals is recruiting CNC Machinists for a small, local manufacturing shop.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to learn more than one part of the production process. Team members operate CNC machines while also assisting with setups, inspections, maintenance, material handling, and other shop duties.
What You'll Do
Operate CNC machines and other shop equipment
Load, unload, and set up production jobs
Read blueprints and check finished parts for quality
Assist with equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance
Move materials using forklifts and other tools
Help wherever needed to keep production running efficiently
Follow all quality and workplace safety procedures
Experience Levels
Entry Level
Mechanical knowledge or recent Hillyard Technical Center training preferred
Willingness to learn CNC operation and other shop responsibilities
Strong attendance, dependability, and work ethic
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Intermediate
Previous CNC machine operation experience
Familiarity with blueprints, measurements, and shop processes
Ability to assist with troubleshooting and equipment setups
Willingness to perform different duties as production needs change
Experienced
Ability to operate multiple CNC machines and complete complex setups
Experience with blueprints, inspections, and process improvements
Comfortable taking on additional shop responsibilities
Willingness to help train and support less-experienced team members
