Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team and support the development, testing, and deployment of Python-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Python scripting expertise, experience with Jenkins, and a passion for software quality and automation.
This role will involve writing and maintaining Python applications, creating and executing test cases, validating code functionality, and supporting CI/CD processes through Jenkins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and scripts.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for Python applications.
  • Perform code validation, debugging, and quality assurance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Integrate, build, and deploy applications using Jenkins pipelines.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues as needed.

Required Skills
Technical Skills
  • Python Scripting (Expert Level)
    • Advanced experience developing Python applications and automation scripts.
    • Strong understanding of Python best practices and software design principles.
  • Jenkins
    • Experience building and maintaining Jenkins jobs and pipelines.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automated deployment processes.

Testing Experience
  • Experience writing and executing test cases for Python applications.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and defect tracking.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as PyTest or UnitTest preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
