We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Industrial Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be a key player in optimizing our manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring the highest level of productivity. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise in Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and Process Improvement to a progressive and innovative company. As a Permanent Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to production processes and methodologies. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas where efficiency can be improved through the application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
- Perform process simulations and risk assessments.
- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new production plants, including monitoring developments and troubleshooting.
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Perform process and product audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement production process changes and improvements.
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
- Train and guide staff on new processes and modifications to existing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the manufacturing industry, focusing on process improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
- Proven experience in Industrial Engineering.
- Strong understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in process simulation, risk assessments, and quality control.
- Demonstrable ability to design and optimize production processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office and CAD software.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry.
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred but not required.
