About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform routine and
emergency service calls on security systems. In this role, you
will troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment while providing
exceptional customer support. This is a hands-on position that requires strong
technical knowledge, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.

What You'll Do
  • Perform routine and emergency on-site service calls.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
  • Deliver high-quality customer support and instruction on system operations.
  • Conduct system testing and signal verification.
  • Maintain proper truck stock, inventory, tools, and equipment.
  • Utilize technical resources and materials to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
  • Ensure timely completion and documentation of all service-related activities.
  • Provide accurate documentation of service performed and hours worked.
  • Complete additional assignments and projects as needed.

Qualifications
Multi-Meter Proficiency-
Must be able to use a multimeter to trace issues, diagnose faults, and verify
electrical readings accurately.
Reliable Transportation-
Must have a dependable personal vehicle to travel between job sites as
required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in security system service and repair.
  • Mastery-level knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
  • Strong understanding of local and national code requirements.
  • Proficient with test equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers, and decibel meters.
  • Valid driver's license; and reliable transportation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and written procedures in English.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements
This job requires the ability to:
  • Stand, walk, sit, twist, crawl, climb, kneel, crouch, push, pull, and reach.
  • Use vision for close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color perception.
  • Work in challenging environments (ladders, scaffolding, high-lift equipment, attics, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.).
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Travel on short notice and work variable hours, including on-call shifts.
  • Operate a motor vehicle for extended periods during the day or evening.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
