Job Description
We are seeking an Oracle EPM Cloud Consultant to support the Oracle EPM environment. This role is a backfill for a team member on long‑term leave and will focus heavily on FCCS support, while also contributing to ongoing enhancements across the broader Oracle EPM Cloud stack. The ideal candidate is a senior‑level techno‑functional consultant who is comfortable handling day‑to‑day operational support while also contributing to configuration, rules development, and smaller project initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day production support across Oracle EPM Cloud (approx. 60% of the role) Including:
FCCS consolidation and close support
ARCS activities
Month‑end close assistance
User support and basic training (e.g., SmartView guidance)
Support and enhance Oracle FCCS, with working knowledge of:
Planning
Workforce Planning
PCMC
Narrative Reporting
Build and modify:
Allocation models
Business rules and calculation logic
Reports and data integrations
Manage and maintain:
Metadata / master data
Data integrations
Application rules and calculations
Collaborate with functional team members and leadership on smaller initiatives and enhancements (approx. 40% of the role)
Project Overview:
This consultant will join an existing Oracle EPM Cloud environment that supports financial consolidation, planning, and reporting for the business. The immediate priority is to stabilize and support FCCS operations during a critical resource gap, while also continuing incremental improvements to allocation logic and EPM processes.
The engagement is expected to last 8–10 months, with potential for extension or conversion based on business needs and performance.
Team Structure & Collaboration
The Oracle EPM team currently consists of:
4 fully dedicated functional team members
This consultant will be the fifth team member, operating as a senior individual contributor.
The role works closely with:
Finance and accounting stakeholders
EPM functional resources
Leadership within the Oracle EPM team
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in the Oracle EPM ecosystem
Strong hands‑on expertise with FCCS
Experience with:
Metadata and master data management
Data integrations
Application rules and calculations
Report development
Ability to work independently in a production support environment
Strong communication skills and comfort supporting end users
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Oracle ARCS
Experience supporting Account Reconciliation Cloud Service, especially during month‑end close.
Oracle Planning & Workforce Planning
Working knowledge of planning applications to support cross‑module dependencies and user questions.
PCMC (Profitability & Cost Management Cloud)
Exposure to PCMC, particularly complex allocation models and cost calculations.
Narrative Reporting
Experience supporting or maintaining Oracle Narrative Reporting solutions.
Smart View (Excel Add‑In)
Ability to support end users with Smart View usage, troubleshooting, and best practices.
Scripting Awareness (Ruby / Python)
Familiarity with scripting used in Oracle EPM calculation rules and allocation logic (not pure development).
User Support & Light Training
Comfortable providing day‑to‑day support, answering user questions, and offering basic EPM guidance.
