Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Payment domain expertise to lead and deliver strategic payment-related initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing projects involving payment processing, merchant acquiring, cards, ACH, wire transfers, real-time payments, or digital payment platforms. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to deployment.
Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource plans.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Technology, QA, and Operations.
Lead project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Drive requirement gathering, solution design reviews, and UAT activities.
Manage vendor and client communications for payment-related initiatives.
Track project metrics, milestones, and reporting.

Required Skills

10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years as a Project Manager.
Strong experience in Payments Domain:
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Merchant Acquiring
- Payment Gateways
- ACH, Wire Transfers
- SWIFT
- RTP (Real-Time Payments)
- ISO 20022
- Digital Payments
Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar tools.
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with banking or financial services clients.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in payments.
Ability to manage multiple projects and distributed teams.
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
