Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Big Data Engineer to join our client’s team in a hybrid role based in New York City. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with large-scale data systems and NoSQL databases, and will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing systems.
· Work with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB and Apache Cassandra.
· Build and optimize data pipelines for big data processing.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders.
· Ensure data performance, scalability, and reliability across platforms.
· Implement best practices for data architecture and data management.
Required Skills:
· Strong experience in Big Data technologies.
· Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
· Experience working with Apache Cassandra.
· Experience with distributed data systems and large datasets.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
· Knowledge of data pipeline and ETL frameworks.
· Prior experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
