Our client, a high-growth leader in the distribution space, recently transitioned to a NetSuite ERP environment (Dec 2024) and is looking for a WMS Developer to take full ownership of their warehouse technology ecosystem.
This is a high-impact role where you aren't just maintaining a system-you are building the future of a distribution center. You will have a "fresh slate" environment to design customizations, script automations, and drive the integrations that make warehouse operations run faster and smarter. responsibilities:
- Development & Customization: Design, develop, and test system enhancements using VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL to automate core warehouse business processes.
- Systems Architecture: Create and manage custom records, logic, and workflows to align the WMS with specific fulfillment requirements.
- Integration Management: Lead the technical connection between the WMS and NetSuite ERP, building and maintaining robust APIs.
- Data Operations: Manage complex data loading requests, focusing on inventory accuracy, logistics adjustments, and bulk record updates.
- EDI & Support: Provide technical support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes and serve as the escalation point for script errors or integration failures impacting the warehouse floor.
- Backlog Execution: Actively resolve the development backlog to streamline operations for the supply chain and warehouse teams.
qualifications:
- Proven background working within Distribution or Manufacturing environments. You must understand the "real world" logic of order fulfillment and warehousing.
- Strong foundational coding skills in VB.NET or C#, alongside JavaScript and SQL.
- Experience: General software development experience or experience working within ERP/WMS environments.
- Ability to handle complex data queries and mass updates with high accuracy.
- Prior experience setting up or maintaining EDI connections. - Preferred
- Previous experience integrating a WMS with an ERP system (specifically NetSuite). - Preferred
