About the Role
As a Specialty Software Engineer, you will consult on complex, large-scale initiatives that have broad impact across systems and processes. You'll analyze and resolve multi-faceted engineering challenges, requiring deep technical expertise and strategic thinking. This role involves collaborating closely with client teams to deliver solutions that meet compliance, policy, and performance requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical consultation on large-scale, complex software engineering projects.
  • Review and analyze intricate engineering challenges, including unprecedented or intangible factors.
  • Develop strategies and contribute to resolving multi-dimensional issues with a strong understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and at least one additional language (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Golang).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native development.
  • Familiarity with implementing GenAI-enabled solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in regulated industries and knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Bonus Skills
  • Expertise in large-scale planning and strategic consulting.
  • Ability to navigate complex compliance and policy frameworks.
