Job Title: QA Lead Duck Creek (Insurance Policy & Billing)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Onsite QA Lead with strong expertise in Duck Creek Policy & Billing and deep knowledge of the Commercial P&C Insurance domain.
This role will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and offshore QA teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, effective communication, and alignment with business expectations.
The candidate should also have exposure to automation and drive adoption across the program.
Key Responsibilities
Onsite Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for QA at the client location
Collaborate closely with business users, product owners, and SMEs
Translate business requirements into test strategies and actionable tasks for offshore teams
Provide real-time updates, risk identification, and mitigation plans
QA Strategy & Leadership
Define and drive end-to-end QA strategy for Duck Creek implementations
Lead test planning, estimation, and execution across releases
Ensure alignment with business priorities, timelines, and quality goals
Drive shift-left and quality engineering practices
Duck Creek & Insurance Testing
Lead validation of Duck Creek Policy & Billing modules
Oversee testing of critical workflows:
o Submission Quote Bind Issue
o Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations
o Billing lifecycle (Account setup, invoicing, payments, collections)
Ensure accuracy in rating, underwriting, and policy lifecycle processes
Validate integrations with external systems and APIs
Automation Enablement
Promote automation-first mindset across QA teams
Identify and prioritize automation candidates (API & UI)
Collaborate with automation teams to improve the following:
o Coverage and efficiency
o Execution stability and CI/CD integration
Track and report automation ROI and progress
Offshore Team Management
Lead and coordinate offshore QA teams (manual + automation)
Provide clear direction on test scenarios, priorities, and deliverables
Conduct reviews, status tracking, and quality audits
Mentor team members and ensure adherence to best practices
Test Execution & Quality Governance
Ensure comprehensive test coverage (functional, integration, E2E)
Monitor defect metrics, leakage, and quality KPIs
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production/pre-production issues
Support UAT cycles and business validation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
Strong experience in Duck Creek Policy & Billing testing
Deep expertise in Commercial P&C Insurance domain
Proven experience in QA Lead / Onsite Coordinator role
Exposure to test automation frameworks and practices
Strong skills in:
o Stakeholder management
o Test strategy and planning
o Defect management and RCA
o Agile/Scrum methodologies
