Detailed Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead – Google Cloud Platform Cloud Application Development to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform administration and architecture, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD automation.

The candidate will work closely with development and DevOps teams to build cloud-native solutions, optimize infrastructure performance and costs, implement security best practices, and ensure the reliability and availability of production environments.

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Design, deploy, configure, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform using GKE and Docker.

·         Administer and optimize Google Cloud Platform services, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Compute Engine, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Operations.

·         Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.

·         Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable automated builds, deployments, testing, and releases for cloud-native applications.

·         Manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.

·         Implement cloud networking, security controls, access management, and infrastructure best practices.

·         Collaborate with application development and DevOps teams to integrate MongoDB and Redis Cache into cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.

·         Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization using observability tools and Google Cloud Platform monitoring services.
