AI Consultant

Description

We are looking for an AI Consultant to join a high-performing team supporting innovation within a pharmaceutical-focused third-party logistics environment in Coppell, Texas. This Long-term Contract position will focus on shaping practical AI solutions that improve how users interact with documents, data, and business workflows. The role combines hands-on prompt design, user enablement, and governance oversight to ensure AI tools are effective, reliable, and aligned with operational needs.

Responsibilities:
Build and manage a centralized prompt catalog that supports recurring business scenarios such as content summarization, question answering, information extraction, code-related assistance, and document review.
Develop and refine prompting approaches using structured instruction design, example-driven guidance, contextual framing, and other advanced techniques to improve output quality.
Create AI-enabled workflows that connect business data, operational records, document repositories, and related enterprise sources for practical internal use cases.
Support the rollout and ongoing enhancement of AI applications, including knowledge assistants, conversational tools, and workflow optimization solutions across the organization.
Run controlled testing on prompt variations, measure response quality, and document findings to guide continuous improvement efforts.
Advise users on effective ways to work with AI tools when referencing local files such as PDFs, spreadsheets, word processing documents, and code assets.
Design reusable prompt frameworks that perform consistently with large documents, multiple file inputs, and structured datasets.
Evaluate prompts and file-based AI workflows for safety, bias, misuse exposure, and governance risks before production release.

Requirements

Experience designing, testing, and improving prompts for AI-driven applications in business or operational settings.
Strong understanding of document-based workflows and the ability to translate user needs into practical AI use cases.
Familiarity with integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms, data repositories, and operational systems.
Ability to analyze prompt performance, compare test results, and apply findings to improve consistency and effectiveness.
Knowledge of AI governance considerations, including risk mitigation, bias awareness, and safe deployment practices.
Strong communication skills with the ability to guide end users, gather requirements, and work closely with cross-functional teams.
Exposure to business systems and processes related to discovery, EDI, ERP environments, or tools such as Prophet 21 is preferred.
